Wellingborough & District Ramblers

The Wellingborough And District Ramblers Group was founded in 1991. We are a thriving group, with over 300 members,

offering a wide variety of events to suit most age groups

and abilities. Being, one of the Northamptonshire Groups

and part of the Ramblers' Association we would like to offer

you the opportunity to get away from it all for a few hours

each week. We have a full programme, a mixture of Saturday,

Sunday and midweek walks, both half and full day

and ranging in length between 4 and 14 miles.

We also venture further a field with organised day trips,

weekends and longer treks to many corners of England.

The Rambler's Association encourages walking, protects the rights of way, defends the beauty of the countryside and has campaigned for many years for freedom to roam over uncultivated, open country.
